TRITON ship management has its own network state of the art Maritime Training Centers, Our training philosophy is to ensure that all personnel employed by TRITON are trained to be fully competent in the duties they perform and prepared for the next step in their careers. Our quality training system, based on continuous professional development, comprises a progressive mix of theoretical and practical training. Simulators, workshops and facilitated discussions all play their part in our blended learning approach, which is delivered both ashore and on board.
Land-based training replicates the on board environment that seafarers encounter during their duties, including gas and safety management courses and practical sessions on advanced bridge, cargo handling, engine and LNG simulators based on the latest technologies.
As a responsible employer in the marine industry, TRITON is committed to the future development of seafarers and has an extensive cadet sponsorship programme in place. TRITON recruits cadets from selected and approved maritime academies all over the world.
Subject to acceptable performance, the company financially supports their studies and provides them with extensive training onboard diverse vessel types, providing a holistic maritime training experience.
